Insomniac "Wide awake since 1993" is Americans leading
producer of nightlife / dance music events behind
Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal Wonderland, Together
As One, How Sweet It Is and many more!This LA-based company fully merged with its longtime
Festival partner Disco Productions/Ultimo in September
2009 and in doing so expanded the Insomniac brand into
over 40 cities in North America and Puerto Rico.
The company has introduced Nashville and Tennessee to
artists such as Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Mstrkrft,
Deadmau5, Perry Farrell, Paul van Dyk, The Red Hot Chili
Peppers, David Bowie, Boy George, The Crystal Method and
many more. Happy Valley
Jim O’Shea and Maris Hickey, along
with DJ MINDUB, conceived this long-running monthly
dance party when they combined forces to create fun-time
company, Neontoast, in 2008. Happy Valley’s
electro-party concept was hosted monthly at downtown’s
rooftop lounge Aerial, before moving to MAI in late
2009. Each event’s mixes are posted on their MySpace
page, available as free downloads for their fans. Happy
Valley has also expanded as an event production company
to host several special events at Mai and other premier
Nashville venues.
